Tenth Technology Predator
The Tenth Technology Predator is an awesome piece of racing history. Its futuristic styling along with some controversial/stunning design traits made it a very desirable buggy back in the day and even today, these things change hands for quite a sum.
The low profile spaceship body hid the delightful inline shocks which gave the car an incredibly streamlined look and even today, next to the modern racing buggies, this car will turn heads.
For all its looks, the Predator did have a few annoyances, one of them being the fragility of the car. It looked like an F1 car and sadly, in some places, it was built like an F1 car so there were breakages if you weren’t careful. Then there were the shocks. As much as I love the look of them, on the rougher tracks and terrains, they just don’t perform as well as the normal stand up shocks. However, on the UK tracks, where we ran relatively flatter astro surfaces, the car performed very well.
Currently my favourite vintage 4wd but sadly it won’t be run due to the lack of available spare parts.
