The Avante is my all time favourite vintage Tamiya 4WD buggy. From the futuristic space age body to the undeniably cool laydown shocks, this car was like something from the future back then. Fast forward many decades and the car still holds its appeal to many of us enthusiasts. It may have been heavy, sluggish and cumbersome on the track but there is no denying the build quality of this over engineered work of art.
