Tamiya DT02 Super Fighter G
Here is my DT02 donning the Super Fighter G ( Super Fighter GR ) hard bodyshell in my racing colours.
Wheels
For this particular build, I went for some black JC Racing 2.2″ rims mated to some old school Mardave tyres. The result is a rather purposeful and retro looking style which actually looks ok.
Rear Wing
Here, I’ve gone for a Penguin Bodyshells modern racing wing, which certainly gives it a more sporty look and will actually give it some downforce when in use.
Bodyshell and Shocks
I opted for the Super Fighter G/GR body for this one as I fancied something different. For racing, it’s probably not the best choice as it is made from hard plastic and certainly weighs more than its polycarbonate counterparts but it does look quite refreshing and individual. Shock wise, I’ve gone again for my usual 3Racing shocks.
