Tamiya DT02 Modified Astute
This is my 2nd Tamiya DT02 that I’ve used a different bodyshell. This time it’s the Astute / Super Astute alternative body for the Tamiya DT02.
Wheels
Standard Tamiya white dish wheels with the DT02 / Holiday Buggy tyres. Kept it stock looking, wheel wise, for this one.
Shocks
Tamiya black CVA shocks with shortened springs. Contrary to their looks, the plastic CVA shocks do work well when setup correctly. They just lack the bling factor of the alloy shocks.
Bodyshell
Penguin Bodyshells Astute body was the one I went for here. Wanted to try a different body and on the whole the Astute body fit quite nicely. So if you’re looking for an alternative bodyshell for your DT02, the Astute is worth a look.
